Subject : Appointment of Chairman of Management Advisory Committee

Enclosure : A copy of letter, P-MT-016/2543 dated July 27,2000.
Referring to THIP's board of directors' management meeting, no. 2/2543 held
on July 27, 2000. The meeting had a resolution on appointing Mr. Num
Mahathitirat as Chairman of Management Advisory Committee in order to
make recommendations and advice of the company's operations which shall
be beneficial to the board of director's management.
In this regard, the board of directors had invited and appointed Mr. Num as
Chairman of Management Advisory Committee which has been effective
since August 3, 2000.
