Subject: Action to be undertaken on Cross related transaction
Attention: Managing Director, SET
Re : SET's letter ref. no.BorJor 537/2545 dated September 16th, 2002.
Referring to the letter from SET requested THIP to follow the regulation
about cross related transaction strictly, and THIP had reported the approval of
short term Promissory Note issued by Sunflower Co.,Ltd. after the 2nd quarter of
2002 mentioned in THIP's letter as reference.
THIP's director had acknowledged SET's letter in the Executive Directors'
meeting No. 15/2002 on September 17, 2002, and appreciated for the useful
suggestion on action needed regarding cross related transaction regulation.
As a result, the meeting had approved and set the date for extra-ordinary
shareholders' meeting no. 2/2002 on Monday, November 18, 2002.,and informed
all related departments to carry out their responsibility involving the meeting.
