Filing of reviewd Financial Statement Q3

THIP-SET 147/2008 November 11, 2008 Subject : Filing of Reviewed Financial Statements for the 3rd Quarter of 2008 and 2007 Attention : President The Stock Exchange of Thailand The Board of Directors Meeting No. 7/2008 of Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited which was held on November 11, 2008 had approved the Reviewed Financial Statements for three-month period ended September 30, 2008. The Company reported that net profit was Baht 3.66 million decreased by Baht 15.16 million from the same period last year which was amounted at Baht 18.82 million. Since the difference was more than 20%, the Company therefore would like to clarify as below. : 1) Sales revenue for this quarter was declined Baht 15.20 million or 5.78% from Baht 263.17 million last year to Baht 247.97 million 2) Cost of goods sold per unit increased from last year by 3.44% due to severe higher resin cost during June up to August 2008 3) Realized loss from foreign exchange and also recognized unrealized loss from forward exchange contracts amounting to Baht 9.86 million.
