Notification of investment in building and machinery

THIP-SET/002/2010(ENG) 15th January 2010 Subj: Notification of investment in building and machinery Attn: Director and Manager The Stock Exchange of Thailand According to Thantawan Industry Public Co., Ltd. Board of Directors' Meeting No. 12/2009, the approval of investment in building and machinery with total value of 50,000,000 Baht, the company has proceeded the investment process, details as followed; 1.New warehouse building construction including the system and design fee, total of 1 building 2 storeys with the area of 1,600 square meters,value of 29,390,958 Baht, for storing materials and finishing products. 2.Improve the existing factory building and process system in order to install the new machine, total area of 1,640 square meters, value of 2,400,000 Baht. 3.Invest in new machine in order to increase the production process,total of 12 machines, value of 11,370,000 Baht. 4.Invest in machine for product research and development, total of 1 machine, value of 5,527,500 Baht. 5.Acquiring the assets no 1-4, total value of 48,688,458 Baht, This investment transaction is approximately 6.84% of company's existing assets (reviewed by auditors as at September 30, 2009). Therefore this investment neither falls under the Notification Concerning Acquisition and Disposition of Assets nor the Notification Concerning the Connected Transactions.
