Pursuant to Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited (THIP) has had consistent
commitment to upgrade its product quality toward international standard of ISO 9002 in accordance
with the policy specified in the Information Disclosure Annual Report in 1997 (form 56-1) and Annual
Report 1997 as had reported accordingly.
Today THIP is proudly to notify the SET that on Tuesday, January 19, 1999 at 4.00 pm. at
Suntowers Building A, 11th Fl., Bibhavadee-Rangsit Rd., Bangkok, THIP will held ISO 9002 certificate
reception ceremony which is certified and issued to THIP by SGS Yarsley International Certification
Service Ltd. (U.K.)
THIP is confident that its ISO 9002 certificate reception shall greatly enhance benefits and

1. Maintaining customers base in European Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) where they
have imposed rigorous importing regulations.
