Reference: Your letter number Kor Tor.695/2544 dated November 26, 2001. Subject
"Please be conducted according to regulations in related transaction."
As Market Regulation Department, The Stock Exchange of Thailand had issued the captioned
letter to Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited (THIP) to inform about an internal transaction
according to the regulations of related transaction. In accordance with THIP's resolution of Executive
Board of Directors' Meeting, no. 8/2001 on November 12, 2001., Concerning to approve and ratify the
retrospective lending to Sunflower Co., Ltd., a major shareholder of THIP, with total loan amount at 23
million baht and will pay back within December 20th, 2001.
By now, please be informed that we had received a letter from Sunflower Co.,Ltd. to inform that
Sunflower Co., Ltd., is inconvenience to repay the said loan on December 20th, 2001 to THIP, and
requested to extend the Promissory Note for One month, with interest rate 10% p.a.. During the extension
period THIP will call for extraordinary shareholders meeting in order to get consent from shareholder as
per regulation concerned.
