Subject: Updating on money lending to parent company transaction
Attention: Managing Director, SET
Re : Thip's letter ref.no. TP-MT113/45 (FC088/45) dated August 23rd, 2002.
We refer to the above letter and in according with THIP's updating report
about the approval of short term Promissory Note issued by parent company after the
2nd quarter of 2002,
The resolution of Executive Board meeting no. 14/2002 on August 30, 2002
approved the letter from Sunflower Co.,Ltd. ref.no. S/MGT-019/2002 dated August
29, 2002 requesting to postpone the payment of 3 Promissory Notes for 60 days after
due date. The approval gave by the Executive Board was under the consideration of
Sunflower Co.,Ltd. had always honored the repayment together with it's interest
correctly and the requested will not affect the company's monthly working capital
at all, so that approved the extension for 60 days as requested.
In addition, Sunflower Co.,Ltd. has already paid the full amount of interest
on September 2nd, 2002 which is on the maturity date of the 1st P/N amounting
ThB164,383.56.
