Thantawan Industry Public Co.,Ltd. (THIP) would like to clarify the major causes which affect net profit to decrease from 3.14 million baht in 2003 to loss 13 million baht in 2004 or 514.33%. There are 2 causes as following:- 1. Company recorded an account transaction for 40 million baht of unpaid debt by parent company as allowance for doubtful accounts 2. In case of Company will record net profit before unpaid debt by parent company as allowance for doubtful accounts in 2004, this will reflect net profit 26.99 million baht while net profit at the same period in 2003 is 3.14 million baht which increased 23.85 million baht as a result of an increase in sales revenue 85.91 million baht or 12.06% from 712.59 million baht in 2003 to 798.50 million baht in 2004 Please be informed accordingly.
