(THIP) would like to indicate the changes of business performances in the 1st Quarter of 2006 compared with the same period of time in 2005 which had been verified by C.P.A as following The company's net profit in the 1st Quarter of 2006 was 4.39 million baht while in the 1st Quarter of 2005 was 12.32 million baht by following causes. 1. A revenue from sales in the 1st Quarter of 2006 was 181.67 million baht comparing to the same period of time in 2005 was 208.36 million therefore there was 26.69 million baht or 12.81% decrease. 2. A loss on foreign exchange was 2.11 million baht comparing to the same period in 2005 was 0.34 million baht which caused by the appreciation of baht to US dollar on the average from 40.83 baht/US$ to 38.82 baht/US$ during the 1st Quarter of 2006.
