THIP-SET/054/2549 December 13th, 2006 Subject : Notification for Construction of New Factory's Building Attention : Director and Manager, SET Regarding to Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited had signed a Construction of New Factory's Building Contract, we are pleased to disclose information according to SET's regulation as followings:- 1.Signed Date : 13 December 2006 2.Contracted Party : Employer Thantawan Industry PLC./ Employee JCM Supply Corporation Company Ltd. and JCM Engineering Concept Company Ltd. 3.Related Transaction : None 4.Details of Asset : Modern model building with 40 width x 78 length x 8.0 m height from top pile, included excess water conduit (reinforced concrete), electrical and sanitary system, construction site located at Soi Kangval 2 Omyai Nakorn Pathom, the existing area. Total construction value is 26,500,000 baht (twenty-six million, five hundred thousand baht only). The balance of investment budgeting 53,500,000 baht (fifty-three million, five hundred thousand baht only is allocated for purchasing of belt-conveying system and machinery followed with Board of Director's resolution on total investment budgeting totally 80,000,000 baht (eighty million baht only) 5.Funding : Using own fund 6.Return on Investment : 1) To increase the production's efficiency of existing and news product for more competitiveness 2) To increase production capacity 3) To produce high value added and high quality product to serve the market, to focus on all quality product with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guarantee 4) To increase the potential strategic alliance 7.Scale of Transaction : Over all return 4.36% as of 3rd Quarter year 2006 closed on 30th September 2006 was below the standard regulated by SET's announcement on standard, method and disclosure of receiving and selling of asset by listed company in SET Please be informed accordingly.
