Clarification on Q1/2007 financial statement

Ref.THIP-SET 027/2550 May 11, 2007 Subject : Filing of Verified Financial Statements for the 1st Quarter of 2007 and 2006 Attention : Director and Manager SET Enclosures : Verified Financial Statements and the Report of C.P.A. for the 1st Quarter of 2007 and 2006 The Board of Directors of Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited No.4/2007 held a meeting on 11th May 2007, had approved the reviewed financial statements for the three-month period ended 31st March 2007. The Company reported net profits of Baht 5.88 million which was increased Baht 1.49 million from 4.39 net profits in the same period in 2006. The increase was more than 20% thus the Company would like to clarify the major caused as follows:- 1.Total revenue was increased Baht 16.19 million or 8.57 % from the same period in 2006 generated from increasing in Baht 14.98 million sales revenue and Baht 1.21 million other revenues 2.Cost of good sold was increased Baht 16.77 million or 11.63 from the same period in 2006 due to increasing in raw material and minimum wages. 3.Sales and management expensed was decreased Baht 2.56 million or 6.62% from the same period in 2006 due to decreasing in freight charges. 4.Paying more Baht 0.49 million income tax or 31.41% increase from in the same period in 2006.
