THIP-SET/091/2550 November 13th , 2007 Subject : Filing of Verified Financial Statements for the 3rd Quarter of 2007 and 2006 and Report on Comparative Operating Performance between the Quarter Attention : Director and Manager, SET Enclosures : Verified Financial Statements and the Report of C.P.A. for the 3rd Quarter of 2007 - 2006 According to Board of Directors's meeting of Thantawan Industry Public Co.,Ltd. (THIP) no.7/2007 on November 13, 2007, they had approved Verified Financial Statements and the Report of C.P.A. for the 3rd Quarter of 2007. The company's net profit was 18.82 million baht which had increased 12.16 million baht from the same period 6.60 million baht net profit. Referring to SET regulations the company's clarification on causes contributing to changes over 20 percent of business performances from the previous operating period accordingly, THIP would like to indicate the major causes for significant changes of business performances as following : 1. At the 3rd Quarter of 2007, the Company generated 30.40 million baht or12.85% increase from the same period of in 2006 therefore net profit also increased. 2. Sales expenses for the 3rd Quarter of 2007 had decreased 1.55 million baht or 3.76% at the same period of the year and also gain on exchange rate 0.71 million baht while loss on exchange rate 1.10 million baht at the 3rd Quarter of 2006.
