Thantawan Industry Joins Omyai Subdistrict Municipality in Preserving the Buddhist Lent Candle Offering Tradition in 2026

Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited took part in preserving a cherished Thai cultural tradition by joining the Buddhist Lent Candle Offering Ceremony 2026, held in collaboration with Omyai Subdistrict Municipality. The event was organized to uphold and pass on this longstanding Buddhist custom to future generations.

The ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Somjairak Khumthanom, Mayor of Omyai Subdistrict Municipality, who served as chairperson of the event. She was joined by municipal executives, representatives from local government agencies, and the private sector, who came together in full attendance to take part in the occasion.

The candle procession set off from the Omyai Subdistrict Municipality office and proceeded to several significant temples within the municipality's area, namely Wat Sirindhornteprattanaram , Wat Thiandat, Wat Omyai, and Wat Khlong Omyai. On this occasion, representatives of Thantawan Industry employees joined the candle procession, bringing Buddhist Lent candles and offerings to present at Wat Sirindhornteprattanaram, in support of Buddhism and the preservation of this meaningful local tradition for the community.
